Celcius Bangla KeyRing is an easy to use software with
which you can type Bengali directly in Windows applications
like MS Word, Power Point, Outlook Express, Adobe Photoshop
etc. For typing in Bengali you will use your normal
English Keyboard and type Bengali Phonetically. Five
True Type Bengali fonts are included with the software
package.
How to use
Install the software from the CD and REGISTER it online
(internet connection required at that point) or offline
(E-mail at your convenience). You can use Celcius Bangla
KeyRing only after REGISTERING. Unregistered product
can only be run in Trial Mode.
Registration
How to register
On installation of Celcius Bangla
KeyRing an icon is created on your desktop. Double click
the icon to launch the Registration box.
Online Registration
YOU MUST BE CONNECTED TO INTERNET.
Click Register Online in your Registration screen.
Provide the key supplied with the CD. Your product
is registered instantly.
Offline Registration
If for some reason, Internet connection is not available
on that computer, click Register Offline. Provide
the key supplied with the CD and generate a
Certificate Request file. E-mail the file for
Offline Registration Certificate. You will receive
a return e-mail containing the Certificate File.
Now choose offline Registration again, click
"Browse..." locate the Certificate
File and open. Your product is registered on that computer.
Test-run without registering
After installation, you may run Celcius Bangla KeyRing
30 times without registering. Click. Try more. You may
register even after expiry of 30 trials.
Unregistering
In case you need to format your computer or move Celcius
Bangla KeyRing to another computer, you will first have
to unregister the product and subsequently instal and
register again. To unregister, simply run the Unregister
KeyRing program in Start Menu > Programs >
Celcius > Celcius KeyRing > Unregister Celcius
KeyRing. An unregistration request file will be created
and stored on your computer. Your KeyRing will immediately
go back to Trial mode. Remember the directory where
you save the file. You must mail the file to krsupport@celciustech.com.
Your request receipt will be confirmed by e-mail and
you may register your product again on any computer
(see Registration).
Icons
On installation, an icon is created on your desktop.
Double click the icon and launch the software. Upon
launch, a working icon is created at the bottom right
of your monitor (

Keyboards
There are two keyboards in Celcius Bangla KeyRing (two
keys, hence the name KeyRing!)

Start Writing Bengali
-- Lauch Celcius Bangla KeyRing by double clicking the
icon on desktop
-- check that the working icon is (
) (see Icons).
-- Open a Windows application. say MS word, where you
want to type in Bengali
-- Go to Tools > Options > Autocorrect
... turn off all boxes under Autocorret tab. Next, under
'Autoformat As You Type' tab, turn off all boxes under
"Replace as you type". (This will prevent
Word from automatically changing the text that you have
typed.)
-- Choose Bangla Font Normal (or Rounded, Cursive, Angular
or Block) from the font list.
-- Type phonetically (see Type in Bengali).
Fonts
Five fonts of the Bangla family are bundled with
Celcius Bangla KeyRing. They are Bangla Font Normal,
Bangla Font Rounded, Bangla Font Cursive, Bangla Font
Angular and Bangla Font Block. You may choose any of
these five or interchange while writing using Celcius
Bangla KeyRing.
Type in Benglai
Bengali Typing using Celcius Bangla KeyRing is phonetic
and thereof easy. Celcius Bangla KeyRing menu has a
typing Help for ready reference of corresponding English
Keys to a Bengali alphabet. You can turn the Typing
Help "on", "off", or keep it "always
on top" (see Celcius Bangla KeyRing Menu). Also
refer the printed leaflet inside the CD pack for Typing
Help and a 10 minutes Tutorial.
How to switch to English
-- To switch to English text, press Ctrl + Shift + O
or select "English" from the Celcius Bangla
KeyRing Menu (click on the working icon at the bottom
right of the monitor).
-- Check that the working icon changes to (

-- set the desired English font.
VERY IMPORTANT TO REMEMBER
1. You must SWITCH TO ENGLISH (see How to switch to
English) when entering a file name or typing in your
browser address bar or generally entering a text in
your Operating System. So if you see junk characters
there, check that your working icon is (
).
2. Before begining to write in Bengali in MS Word, go
to Tools > Options > Autocorrect ..., turn
off all boxes under Autocorrect tab. Next under 'Autoformat
As You Type', tab, turn off all boxes under "Replace
as you type". (This will prevent Word from automatically
changing the text that you have typed.)
3. Each Celcius Bangla KeyRing can be installed, registered
and run on ONLY ONE COMPUTER. Once registered
on one computer you cannot simultaneously run it on
another.
4. Celcius Bangla KeyRing must be INSTALLED AND REGISTERED
online or offline for perpetual functioning. The
unregistered software is programmed to work for only
30 times after installation.
How to install

following options.
-- Explore the CD and double click on the file "setup.exe"
-- Select 'Run...' from the 'Start Menu' and type in
D:\setup.exe, change 'D' for the letter of your CD-ROM
drive.
Install Shield will then guide you through the installation
operation.

To run the program you must have Internet Explorer version
5 (or higher) installed on your computer. If you do
not have Internet explorer please see instruction inside.
